The 28S is a fishing machine built for family fun.  Built to last, and get you there fast, the Contender 28S will get you to the islands, or settle right in for a relaxing day at the sandbar.  Outfitted with forward seating standard, the 28S is a fantastic combination of both comfort, and fish-ability.

The classic 28T has caught great white sharks around the world with the research vessel OCEARCH.

The work we do with our Contender 28 is incredibly demanding on the vessel. In the past we destroyed the boats we used… both when we are working, and when boats are tied up to the ship in the open ocean.

No matter what challenge or conditions we faced, the Contender has endured. She’s built like a tank and performs flawlessly in any sea condition.

Everything has to work right and be perfectly in place for us to handle 3,000-5,000lb. sharks safely for both the sharks and the crew. It comes down to detail and craftsmanship
