From tournament-focused ST models with maximum fishability to adventure-ready FA models that go off-grid for days, this lineup is built for captains who fish far, fish hard, and refuse to compromise.

These boats don’t force compromises. You’re not running 100 miles offshore to turn around early—you’ve got to have the fuel to get there and back without second-guessing the return trip. Fishboxes hold fish, ice and extra provisions for long hauls and multi-day trips. The deck stays functional when things get chaotic, so you’re working efficiently instead of wrestling your own layout. Your boat should be the last thing limiting what you can do offshore.
Every detail has been scrutinized by people who know what it takes to win tournaments. Clean lines. Purposeful layouts. Space above the deck that’s engineered, not accidental. This is where simplicity meets obsession, and where the little details separate boats that fish well from boats that win.
Like every Contender, every boat in this lineup is built exactly how you want it. You get to choose your gel-coat colors, configure your electronics, and place your rod holders exactly where you want them.Â
ST MODELS: 35ST, 39ST, 44ST
ST models are pure fishing platforms. Maximum fishability and maximum fishbox capacity. You’re not giving up deck space or storage for amenities inside the console. Everything is engineered to keep the boat out of your way when you’re working fish. Every detail serves one purpose: helping you land more fish.
Fuel capacity: 400-600 gallons depending on model
Forward fishbox: 208-340 gallons depending on model
Max HP: 1,200-1,800 HP depending on model
This boat was built for: Tournament anglers and serious offshore fishermen who need a proven platform. You’re fishing competitively or running 50+ miles to the grounds regularly. You need fishbox capacity for trophy-sized fish, fuel range that doesn’t limit your options, and a deck layout that works when things get chaotic.
FA models transform proven fishing hulls into platforms for extended offshore adventures. Think: Same bottom as the ST. Different priorities above the deck. You’re giving up some fishbox capacity and fuel volume, but you’re gaining queen berths, enclosed heads with showers, galleys, and the amenities to go off-grid for days or weeks. FA models fish seriously while giving you the ability to stay out longer, explore further, and turn a fishing trip into an all-hands-on-deck adventure.
Fuel capacity: 460-575 gallons depending on model
Forward fishbox: 175-300 gallons depending on model
Features: Queen berth, enclosed head with shower, full galley, freshwater systems
This boat was built for: Anglers who want to disappear offshore for extended trips. You’re running to the Bahamas for a week, camping at offshore grounds, or taking family on multi-day adventures where comfort matters. You fish seriously— and you’re not coming home until you’re ready.
Â
The 44CB splits the difference between the hardcore ST and the adventure-ready FA. You get a twin berth inside the console with climate control, microwave, sink, shower, and electric head options. Equipped with enough to sleep comfortably overnight without giving up as much storage and fishbox capacity as the FA. 340-gallon forward fishbox. 600 gallons of fuel. Fixed lounger on the foredeck.
This is the boat for anglers who fish hard during the day and appreciate having a space to escape the elements when the sun goes down or conditions turn rough.
This boat was built for: Captains who fish overnight but don’t need a full galley and living quarters. You’re running canyon trips where having a berth makes sense, but you’re not staying out for days at a time. You want fishability during the day and comfort when you’re done, without feeling the need to turn your boat into a yacht.Â
As you move up in size (from 35 to 39 to 44 feet), you’re not just getting a bigger boat. You’re gaining details that change what’s possible offshore.
Fuel capacity: More range means access to grounds other boats can’t reach. 400 gallons on the 35ST. 500 gallons on the 39ST. 575 gallons on the 44FA. 600 gallons on the 44ST and 44CB.Â
Fishbox volume scales with the boat: The 35ST handles most offshore catches. The 39ST accommodates trophy fish that won’t fit in smaller boxes. The 44ST and 44FA easily store multiple big fish without compromising deck space.
Beam matters: A 9’10” beam (35ST) delivers performance. A 10’10” beam (39ST, 39FA) adds stability and fishability. A 12′ beam (44ST, 44CB, 44FA) handles rougher conditions and gives you room to work when the deck is crowded.
Stepped hull design: ST models use Contender’s signature stepped hull, creating lift, reducing drag, and delivering faster speeds with better fuel efficiency and a softer ride. The ride quality means you arrive ready to fish, not exhausted from the run.
