Command The Water With The Redesigned 39ST

READING TIME: 6 MIN

THE 39ST JUST GOT ITS BIGGEST UPGRADE IN MORE THAN A DECADE.

We redesign boats when fishermen tell us what needs to be better. Then we listen, engineer, and deliver.

This is a new era for the legendary 39ST. Captains, tournament anglers, and our craftsmen spent months identifying what needed updating.

Then we used our findings to craft a new console, hardtop, and leaning post engineered by people who know what it takes to win and refuse to settle for “good enough.”

Wider, smarter, more ergonomic. A captain’s environment built for control, comfort, and confidence when conditions get real.

THE NEW CONSOLE:BUILT-IN CONVENIENCE + FISHABILITY

When the clock is ticking and there’s money on the line, your equipment either performs or it costs you. The redesigned 39ST console delivers exactly that—smarter, cleaner, and built for captains who demand total control.

5″ wider and 2” longer for superior protection from the elements

Running hard on windy days means staying dry keeps you sharp and ready when you reach the fish. The expanded console shields you from the elements without sacrificing cockpit space where fish get caught.

Console height reduced 1.5” for improved sightlines

See the bow and read the water even while seated. Navigating inlets, tracking bait, or positioning on fish all demand clear visibility. Guessing doesn’t cut it.

Modern acrylic helm face accommodates dual 22” screens

Electronics help win tournaments—and navigate waters when you’ve got precious cargo on board. The sleek acrylic dash gives you room for the screens you need. Clean, uncluttered, and ready for whatever setup gives you the edge.

Molded-in dash trays

Keys, sunscreen, phone—everything has a home within reach when you need to log a catch or document the moment.

Oversized, lighted glovebox

Keep critical gear accessible and protected. When conditions deteriorate and you need something fast, you don’t want to be fumbling in the dark.

Three access compartments for seamless electronics service

Upgrading, troubleshooting, or adding new tech happens without tearing apart the helm. Best-in-the-industry access that saves time and prevents headaches.

THE HARDTOP:FUNCTION THAT DOESN’T QUIT

Serious fishermen deserve more than boats that just “get the job done,” which is why we redesigned the new hardtop to do its job exceptionally well—so well, you might not even notice it. (That’s kind of the point.)

Molded-in radio box for flush-mounting overhead VHFs or screens

Clean, purposeful integration means no aftermarket brackets cluttering your sightlines or exposed hardware that corrodes. We weren’t kidding when we said these boats were built for what fishermen care about—and details matter when you’re running hard or working fish.

Integrated speaker and lighting pockets

Sound and visibility with molded in recessed speaker pods and lights to eliminate clutter.

THE LEANING POST: ENGINEERED FOR LONG DAYS AND BIG FISH

Tournament days stretch from pre-dawn departures to sunset weigh-ins. The new leaning post is built for anglers who spend serious hours on the water.

18” mezzanine seat height puts your feet on the deck

Feel more secure, more planted, more in control especially when seas build and the conditions get sporty.

50% more cooler capacity

Of course you need more space, is it ever enough? The expanded cooler handles more provisions for longer days out where it counts.

Comprehensive tackle storage everywhere

Every lure, leader, and tool has a place within the new leaning post. With a storage drawer under the helm seats, tackle storage on both sides of the leaning post, and tackle storage behind the mezzanine seat backrest, So when you need something in the heat of the moment, you know exactly where it is.

Rounded edges throughout

Movement around the deck flows easier when you need to move fast. No sharp corners slowing you down or catching lines.

THE HULL AND PLATFORM: PROVEN UNDER PRESSURE,

Whether you’re facing winds, rough seas, or deteriorating forecasts, this boat handles conditions that send others limping back to shore.

When you have to get there fast, the ride matters. The 39ST delivers the speed and stability that let you fish when fair-weather boats are tied up at the marina.

LISTENING TO FISHERMAN, ENGINEERING A BETTER BOAT

The 39ST has been winning tournaments for years. But staying relevant has never been the goal. Staying dominant is.

The 39ST redesign represents thousands of hours of engineering, testing, and refinement. We listened to feedback from owners who put serious hours on these boats. We worked with our craftsmen—the people who build every console, install every piece of hardware, and know exactly where the friction points are.

Then we designed a better boat. Better because fishermen told us what mattered, and we rose to the occasion.

260-gallon forward fishbox

Handle your biggest catches with room to spare. When you’re targeting trophy fish, you need a fishbox that doesn’t make you choose what to keep.

145-gallon secondary forward fishbox/dry storage compartment

Converts for additional catch capacity or keep it dry for gear that needs protection.

(2) forward under-deck rod lockers, port and starboard.

Your tournament rods stay protected, organized, and ready. No tangles, no damage, no excuses.

40-gallon freshwater system

Keep the deck clean and the crew comfortable on long days.

(2) 105-gallon aft fishboxes, port and starboard

When the bite is on and you’re putting fish in the box, capacity matters.

(2) 40-gallon transom livewells with stainless steel pump boxes and (2) 1500 GPH pumps

Keep bait healthy and tournament fish alive with commercial-grade livewell systems.

Full transom with integral dive platform and transom dive door

Easy water access for diving, swimming, or landing big fish.

Oversized in-deck bilge access

Maintenance and inspections can finally happen quickly. Less time wrenching, more time fishing.

THIS IS WHAT COMPETITION LOOKS LIKE.

Forty years building boats teaches you something: the moment you stop improving is the moment you start falling behind.

Legendary boats don’t stay legendary by accident—they earn it by refusing to settle.

When you’re powered by Yamaha reliability and riding a hull that fears no forecast, you’re equipped with an unfair advantage. The redesigned 39ST is available now.
